Homestay Used to Isolate COVID-19 Patient Sterilized with Disinfectant

Homestay unit at RT 01/02, Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands, which previously used as isolation house for the recovering COVID-19 patients was sprayed with disinfectant on Friday (7/17).

North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency Sector 8 Unit Head, Eko Mahendro stated, disinfectant spraying carried out to follow up homestay owner and Safe Island Task Force.

"We deploy 4 personnel with one unit sprayer and 30 liters of disinfectant liquid ," he conveyed.

With assistance from medical team, urban village apparatuses, and Safe Island Task Force, his side started the spraying from bedroom, bathroom, living room and areas around the homestay.

"It is one of our efforts to sterilize and prevent COVID-19 transmission in Tidung Island," he asserted.
